Kenni DeNile – Guest on Twitter Tuesday Live 6th September 2011

Wow, what a buzz today! What more can I say? Kenni Denile, our guest on Today’s Twitter Tuesday Live, turned out to be a no holds barred true rocker! Kenni believes if you want something bad to reach out and get it. Don’t be afraid to live your dreams and go after all you believe in. Be open, honest and true to yourself! Kenni is certainly all of that!

During the 2 hour show, Kenni acted like the true rock star he is, in his own right! He is confident, clearly spoken and conveyed a lot of information to his audience! He received a lot of good positive feedback from those that tuned in live! He gave us some insight into his musical influences, where he is at now in his musical career, and his plans for the future.

I will warn you that explicit language was used in one section of today’s show. However, I can assure you, in the words of another Kenny, “it’s all done in the best possible taste”! (For those of you that don’t know – that was Kenny Everett)

Oh, did I mention how I loved his hair, his eyes and his voice??  Lol

He also shared with us a very special moment in his life! A truly remarkable story!

Please take the time to download the podcast and hear Kenni for yourself!

During the show we featured three of his songs, all of which are in our rotation. Kenni gave us a brief description of each one:

DREAMER

Dreamer is actually the first song I ever wrote, with a band.  It is a song that speaks to anyone who is feeling defeated, lonely, lost or otherwise broken and they can turn to music to help them see themselves though hard times. Most of my songs speak to the idea that above all else, you must always believe in yourself and follow your heart.  But you don’t always have to do it on your own ~ “Let me be your Dreamer, lean on me and we’ll see it thru.”

INDIGO

This song is a new song and it has a meaning that is very near to me.  There are people, in our time, they call Indigos.  Indigo children are very tuned in to what is happening in the Universe and are quite often mis-understood by the “old guard”.  This song is a tribute to ANYONE who has their own unique sense of being and is not afraid to follow their heart and own their beautifulness.  To speak up and make their voice heard and possibly effect a change in the world around them.

SNAKE BITE

I loved recording this song.  It’s very straight to the point, in that it’s not the feeble minded shit that someone may say about you that hurts, as much as it is – what do you do with those words?  Do you believe them and stop being yourself, or do you say Fuck You!  I don’t accept that and keep on keepin’ on?  This song also has my favorite guitar lead as well.  Can I get a big Hell Yeah for Mike P?!!!
